Mouse melons
« on: January 15, 2015, 22:09:05 PM »
I was watching "gardening australia" earlier and was intrigued by these little mouse melons - never heard of them before.

Has anyone grown them?

So you think I should watch Gardening Australia too  :)

Never heard of the Mexican sour gherkin (Melothria Scabra)

But here is an expert Rob Robs that is growing them on uTube - he seems to be a cutie :)

Abby - I've actually been  waiting to see your garden on that program ;D

I had a look at your Rob's piece on the mouse melons and they seem to be very hassle-free to grow - the chooks might like them enough to leave my other plants alone.....

That is peculiar ... the link I supplied to Rob seems to have disappeared ???
Did I do something wrong ???

Not the sort of thing I would grow myself .... I like Lebanese and Apple cucumbers.

Abby - nope, don't know what happened to that link - I just googled Rob and found him and his mouse melons :)

Now you've got my inquisitive side going - I'll have to google those melons of yours as well :)
