Hi, can someone tell me what plant this is. I have two of these grassy bushes at the front of the house and I see them often in gardens.  The flower is a bit abused by the rain we had recently but its still looks okay.

Thanks  ;)

It's a wild iris - Dietes grandiflora.

Grows like a weed - but I love them!
Retired - now full-time gardener - and loving it!

Thanks Rena

Now  I can stop calling them the "Grass flowers"  ;D
They started flowering recently, will have to keep an eye on those seed pods, don't want them sprouting everywhere on the lawn.

Have a good day!

That will be the best weatherman in your garden, when she flowers, you know it's going to rain... :)
