Look at you Adri

Growing Kalanchoe in a hanging basket - I tried that and it was a total disaster, they just did not do any good at all.

Well done. :good:

I find pansies fairly rewarding in baskets.

 ???  ???  ???

I will have to find them in the Photobucket and repost them - they just disappeared ??? That sometimes happens when you move them but I have not done that ??? Must be some sort of glitch.

Rena  :)

Thanks for bringing the problem to my attention. Yes they were still in the January folder but for some strange reason I had to copy and paste them again.

BTW
Had no luck striking them or getting seeds  ??? Although they are still alive they do not look as good as last year. Part of the reason being the basket is made from cocos fibre and it is a very much favoured nesting material - I am thinking of planting them in the rockery ??? At least some may grow from seeds ???

Thank you, Abby, for re-posting them - they are really stunning.

I fround two colours of the doubles (the lilac one like yours and a pink one) the other day - the girl at the nursery said only the doubles were perennial (?) - but as Mike said the answer is to mingle annuals and perennials.  (And I had to get 2 single ones  - just to see how they perform!)

(I'm using a couple of layers of shade cloth for lining in my hanging baskets (in place of loose coir) these days).

Abby!  :mmm: I'd never do that - I hung up some bunches of loose coir in the trees for them and it's all been taken ;D

Thank you, Abby, but I must confess that I had a bit of an agenda  - I was hoping they'd take the coir and leave my old man's beard plants alone ;D
